Correct or remove a listing
We built this directory from public business listings and from each firm's own website. We didn't ask first. If your business is here and you'd rather it wasn't — or the details are wrong — this page is how you fix that.
To see exactly what we hold about a specific business, open its page and use the Correct or remove this listing link at the bottom — it brings you back here with the record filled in. Or find your listing by postcode.
What happens next
- 01We check you're connected to the business — usually by calling the number published on its own website. This is to stop a competitor removing your listing, not to talk you out of it.
- 02Removals are actioned within 5 working days, and we aim to be much quicker. The page then returns “gone” to search engines so it drops out of results rather than lingering.
- 03Removed businesses go on a suppression list, so a later data refresh cannot quietly put you back.
Your rights
If you trade as a sole trader or a partnership, your business contact details are personal data under UK GDPR. You have the right to object to us processing them, to have inaccurate details corrected, and to ask for erasure. We will not argue the point — if you ask to come off, you come off.
If you're unhappy with how we handle a request, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
